The best coach goes to Brett Rosenmeier who reviewed each and every one of my essays. However, his best work was the peer edit for my descriptive essay. This was the essay that I struggled the most with, but before his peer review I thought that it was a phenomenal essay. Once I looked at what he had written down for me to work on, I realized that I had messed up. The first thing that he wrote was that the first two paragraphs did not fit with the essays purpose. Then as I continued to read I found out that I had no thesis and then that I was even missing some figurative language that could have really improved the essay. Although, I was unable to fix everything that I had been critiqued on, this peer review was by far the most eye-opening and well deserving of the most helpful peer review.
